Donations

As a church we actively raise funds for many causes such as Christian Aid, local hospices and shelters for the homeless.

Worcester Food Bank

We have regular collections for the Worcester Foodbank which helps support many local families at a time of crisis in their lives.  There is a collection box on the table just inside the church and donations are taken to the Foodbank weekly, for which they are very grateful.

A shopping list of items urgently required is posted on the notice board in the church porch.

Recycle 4 Charity - Christian Aid

We have put a box in the entrance area of the church for collecting used ink jet cartridges for the benefit of Christian Aid.  A contribution of £1.00 will be made to Christian Aid for each cartridge recycled.  Everyone is invited to drop off their old cartridges (and those of their friends), of any make. (Unfortunately, the scheme does not include laser or toner cartridges)

Christain Aid

This Christian Aid Week we will be thinking about families in Kenya. Droughts are now more frequent and more intense due to the climate crisis. Margaret has pledged to walk 300,000 steps during May 2021 and hopes to raise £1100. This amount will support the construction of 2 sand dams, helping drought-stricken communities to access water close to home. Imagine how much lives will be improved when villagers no longer have to walk miles each day to fetch water!
